LEWISBURG, Ohio -- A former Cambridge resident, accused of stabbing and beating a female acquaintance, has been charged with multiple felony crimes.
According to the Preble County Sheriff's Office, 26-year-old Anthony Brown was arraigned on charges of felonious assault, kidnapping and domestic violence. The alleged incident began October 13 when Brown and the woman began fighting while drinking in his home, and reportedly continued into the next day.
According to reports in the Dayton Daily News, Brown stabbed the woman with a knife, beat her and used a knife to cut his wrists during the fracas. Brown and the woman did not call for help after the altercation, according to the incident report. The pair called family members for help and were taken to a hospital. Hospital workers then contacted the sheriff's office.
Authorities say that blood was visible in the home and there had been an attempt to clean it. A child also reportedly lives at the residence
Officials said Brown is a civilian member of the 445th Airlift Wing at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Bond was posted for Brown, which was set at $100,000 on Friday, and the suspect was released from jail.
