BYESVILLE, Ohio -- The residents of a home on Ideal Road went out and returned to their home on Sunday to find it ablaze.
The Byesville, Senecaville, Pleasant City and Lore City Fire Departments responded to the scene just before 6 p.m. on Sunday. The home was fully involved when firefighters arrived at the scene. Crews spend a few hours bringing the blaze under control, but the home is considered a total loss. The Red Cross is assisting the family. According to Byesville Fire Chief Ron Tatgenhorst, 36 firefighters, along with the county's tanker task force responded to the blaze. United Ambulance and the State Highway Patrol were on the scene as well. The State Fire Marshal's Office has been called in to investigate the cause of the blaze.
